Davoud fixed all the issues that i had with my PC (there were numerous) and kept me informed of progress and timescales with new parts that had to be ordered in. Also he gave me advice on additional safeguards that i could take but did not try and sell these to me. My experience of CCC Ltd can best be described as a pleasant and efficient one.

Couldn't fix hard drive problem. OK, but keeping £200+ deposit? Nice business.

Visited this store back in May 2019 as it is local to me. I brought my much-loved Lenovo Y720 laptop to this store to have my 2TB HDD installed. I had attempted to do this once before myself but I shorted out the motherboard and had to pay Lenovo £400 for a new board. So it was important for me to go to someone who I could trust to know what they were doing and could perform a risk-free installation. The store owner, Davoud, took a look on the inside of the laptop to see whether he had the correct cable in store. In the end, he didn't have the correct SATA cable so I said I would go and buy one (as he was trying to charge me an extortionate price to order one in). He did a 30-second clean of the laptop fan, which I assumed he was doing as a courtesy as he didn't ask my permission for this, and then he screwed the laptop back together again. Without any prior discussion of payment/fees, he demanded I pay him £70 for his time, which was no longer than 10 minutes in total looking online for the correct cable and for the fan clean, and to also pay for the hard drive installation in advance. Typically, other IT stores offer free (or relatively cheap) fan cleaning services, so this was quite the surprise. I was stunned by how much he was forcing my hand to pay the £70 immediately, demanding that I pay him for his time (which was nothing more than a simple conversation and joint-browse on the internet), as well as the payment for the hard drive installation in advance. I told him I didn't have that kind of money, as I'm a student with a young family and my laptop is my only means of studying/working. I had already forked out £1.3k into purchasing and upgrading/repairing this laptop to ensure it has high specs for the studio work I needed to do. I really couldn't afford to spend any more than what I had already invested into it. He gave me no indication whatsoever that he was going to charge me for the conversation we had and the fan clean. After telling him that I didn't even have £70 on my debit card, he became even more irate and irritable. Eventually, he conceded and said he would take £35 for "spending time with [me] and cleaning the fan", but he demanded that I return to the shop with a further £35 to undertake the hard drive installation (once I go out and buy the cable on my own accord). I've never known anyone in my LIFE to compel me to do business with them like this. That short 10-minute trip to his shop did more damage than the £35 he forcibly made me pay him. Again, just to emphasise the severity of this, there was no prior discussion or agreement for me to pay him for these "services" before he took it upon himself to do them. In fact, he ended up costing me a lot more money: he forcibly broke one of my screw holders on my beautiful laptop. What kind of technician would be so careless to break someone's new £1.3k laptop by forcibly screwing too tightly one of the corner screws? On this front alone, I would NEVER recommend anyone entrusting their precious laptop/PC with Davoud if he is capable of doing such damage like this. When I went home and discovered he had damaged my laptop, I decided I was never going to return to him again, not even to complain about what he did to my laptop. It's December 2020 now, over a 1.5 years since I went to Davoud's shop. I still have the same laptop but the corner is flimsy and you can see the motherboard from the outside because of the damage from the broken screw holder: it doesn't hold the corner together well. Looking at my damaged laptop made me think back to that awful experience and the enormous amount of pressure I was under in that store to pay him £35 for services I didn't even ask for. I decided to look up his store to see if he's had other negative experiences. I've also seen his responses to other people's reviews. Davoud does everything he can to hide the fact that he is an unfair and dishonourable person. It seems like a habit for him to lock people into paying unreasonable and, at times, ridiculous prices. This is indeed similar to the work of a scam artist.

Excellent. The Centre had exactly what I wanted (a new monitor) and let me have a close inspection.

My father took his computer to get it fixed and put down a £200 deposit. They couldn’t fix it and kept the deposit!
