I find a couple of the big bearded guys to be rude and disrespectful and have been told that they don’t have time to help me. The other day I was at the back of the shop talking to Jake and one of the big guys shouted ‘ how did that lady get there? Then I asked If we could go somewhere else. Jake listened to my voice and choose a guitar that is awesome. I wasn’t offered finance. When I asked if I could buy an adapter for my keyboard he said ‘we don’t sell them’. So I’m not impressed at all with the customer service there. Moody men! Men who think women should not make music was my impression. They couldn’t have shown less interest in my shopping needs apart from getting a great guitar I was not able to purchase anything else. I would have bought picks and a strap but felt I had had enough of their time. This is my third guitar from there and I’d expect a bit of respect. Will not go there again!

Very helpful for us non musical people, we went in to purchase a Bass guitar for our son, staff couldn’t have been more helpful, we ended up spending far more than we originally intended, but we know we’ve bought to last. Great service

PMT is the best place in Cambridge where to buy music equipment. The shop has a wide variety of items. You can check if something is in-store through their website and pre-order if it isn't, although prices may differ from website to store. There's rooms where you can try instruments. Instrument repair and setup are also available, although they're a bit pricy.

Bought a guitar from here and was suggested multiple good guitars in my price range without trying to push me into the higher priced guitars.
