What a lovely bunch of stylist. In the middle of a busy hospital concourse is this little haven. Most hair dressers have small chat about the weather the recent celebrity gossip etc. Not so much in Hair Depot. I have witnessed time and time again a place where stressed parents can come for a break from ward life and share about their very sick child. Tears are accepted, tissues are on hand and a listening ear to the highs and lows of a child's cancer journey or a premie babys hour to hour survival. The staff listen with care and compassion and give the client the space to talk and just let that guard down. Yes, the shop is a little tired looking but that doesn't take away from the true spirit of care and compassion that is the heart of Hair Depot.
