I'm am giving you a star so that I can write a review. I was forwarded to yourselves thru the 'emergency ' dentist. U spoke to me,I explained I was in a lot of pain only to be told it could be a couple of days, since which I have heard nothing!...no professionalism whatsoever. Disgusted.

Good service, very very difficult to get an appointment... You can ring 3, 4, 5 times n always get to voicemail. Best thing to do is go in and book an appointment. If you need the emergency dentist try the one at Westmorland General

Absolutely superb staff in this dentistry. There was a young lass about 21 to 23 named shannon that was fantastic with me and could also have a laugh while being professional at the same time. 10/10 would never change practice.

The administration of this place is disgraceful. Receptionists lie to cover up for there mistakes. A shame because Dentists are friendly and professional.

I rang in September 2019 to make an appointment for me and my husband for a check-up. The receptionist told me that the next available appointment was February (5 months away). No apology was given for this. I know it's not the receptionist's fault, but please at least acknowledge that this is an unacceptable wait time. In a customer-facing role, it is your job to apologise when things go wrong. Two days before the appointment, my husband received a letter saying his appointment needed to be cancelled, and he needed to call to reschedule. The next available appointment was May, another 3 months away, making a total of 8 months' wait for a check-up. The reason given was that the dentist was on holiday - did they really only realise this two days before the appointment? My husband then asked if my appointment was cancelled as well. The receptionist took my name, and apparently checked to see if my appointment was cancelled. She said yes, it was cancelled, and that I would receive a letter in the post as well. The next evening when I got home from work (now the day before the appointment), I noticed I still hadn't received this letter. I couldn't call the practice to check as they were closed, but I gave them a ring the next morning. It turns out, my appointment wasn't cancelled at all, and the first receptionist obviously just didn't bother to check. By this point, I'd already gone in to work (because I'd been told my appointment was cancelled) so it was too late to make it to my appointment. Again, the receptionist did not apologise. Is it their policy not to apologise? Or do they think it's acceptable to make a mistake like this which results in a patient waiting an additional 3 months for an appointment? She also gave me a different excuse to the first receptionist for my husband's appointment being cancelled - apparently now it's a new dentist who's delayed their start date. One of them was lying, but not sure which. I rang back to ask how to make a complaint. They told me to write a letter and send it into the practice, then they would scan this in to send to their owner. I thought this was a joke - wouldn't it be much easier to just have an email address? If you haven't got enough dentists to run a dental practice, then please don't run one.
