24x7 car park, 10 min walk from Cambridge high street. Economical. Spent about £5.9 for 5 hour stay. Reliable, lots of space about 500+, 9 floors. Pay at machine by contactless card. Smell of urine in the lift is a turndown. Narrow space to park.
The carpark was clearly designed many years ago, with parking spaces now far too small for modern vehicles. I drive a small hatchback and it's still difficult to find a parking bay they allows easy access to the passenger doors without a concrete pillar being millimetres away. A top tip is to drive straight to the roof if you have a push chair or need plenty of access around the vehicle.
A days parking on a Saturday will also cost you £17.50, as a clear incentive to use the Park and Ride instead.
The stairwells are dirty and feel unsafe. The whole building needs modernising.
On the plus side, it usually less full than other council run carparks close to the centre of Cambridge. Payment is also straightforward.
It has places to leave your car, it has thirty types of urine on the stairs. It has a mine of interesting aspects. It's a must-visit.
Great Location. Reasonable Prices but the smell in the stairwells lets it down!
Fairly disappointed. Would've expected to pay at the toll once we left as in a normal place (which was possible in fact) but searched like mad for a stupid paying machine because we thought it's the only way to pay, before you leave. So can the administration decide on what clear information is to be printed on the ticket?
