Lots of Space, BUT the pay structure is not good at all. You can not pay per hour, instead you have to pay in 24 hour blocks AND that 24 hour period begins at 4am! We stayed Saturday night at the Ibis and needed 36 hours of parking but had to pay for 48. As per most car parks these days, you have to pay via an app. Walk into city centre is about 25 mins
Not only is it extremely expensive £12.50 daily, minimum rate. The signage and tariffs are not displayed very clearly. Worst car park I've used in terms of transparency. Not very close to town centre either. Won't be going there again.
No clear signs. Machines are not located in a place we can find easily, its like playing hide and seek but never my turn to hide. When i finally found it i see theres only one price to pay which is £12.50 for the day. Only needed a coffee and to sit down for 40 minutes. So after i pressed the button for assistance to see if theres a way to pay by the hour, the guy is asking what city im in! god knows where i got through to. Explained the situation and he said if you leave without paying the £12.50 you will get a fine through the door for a lot more. I left and cant wait for the fine so i can excrete on their paperwork. I will never pay it. There is no clear signage displaying that its one fixed rate only for £12.50. Screw the council for letting them operate like this, they probably getting a %
This NCP car park gave me a fine even though prepaid which i appealed, lost the appeal, tried to make payment, online payment system gave error, impossible to contact via email but only through their website, did not get back to me and now have had to pay £114 fine as past discounted time. Really shocking. Terrible service and daylight robbery.

So, NCP fined me for an alleged 30 minutes stay, which is fine, except for three small points.
1) I did not park for 10 mins of the afore mentioned 30 mins because there were no spaces. Because trying to get a space in Cambridge Station is futile at 8:00am in the morning. Everyone knows that. (Except obviously NCP) So, I circled round for 10 mins.
2) When I did park it was in the 20mins free parking, which is all I needed.
3) Plus you can see from the pictures of my car exiting, that I'm clearly turning left out of the 20 minutes free parking and not right out of the paid parking.
Shady, scummy, underhanded, shifty and entirely loathsome company. I encourage people to park anywhere else if possible or better yet get a Taxi. I hope this heart felt review costs NCP the £60 they stole from of me.
