This was a great find. We walked here whilst staying at the camping and caravanning club site at Great Shelford (Cambridge). It was easy to find and the walk was very easy with only the road bridge over the main railway line offering any difficulty. The site itself was wooded with well marked pathways and suitable bridges and signage so as to direct and inform the visitors. A very interesting location and worth the visit, recommended 👍

Great to come across this LNR (local nature reserve, nothing to do with London NW Railway!). It’s within walking distance of Cambridge yet so peaceful and felt as if it was miles from anywhere. Full of natural vegetation and some history.

Nice little gem just on outskirt of south Cambridge. Highly suggested if you have a dog and you are looking for a place to go for a walk

Great little destination, source of Hobson's Brooke. This nature reserve's well cared for, but not overly so still giving a sense of wild ramble. Count the sources bubbling from the river bed and enjoy time investigating the memorial did at one end. Today, half term in February, some adventurous tooth were enjoying their first pale off the season.
