Great little cafe, with good food and great coffee and the kids love to watch the planes and helicopters. I've been told the pizza's are extremely good, but haven't tried them myself yet. Service can be a little slow at the moment due to restrictions, so prepare to be a little more patient than you're used too.
Visit the café for coffee and ice cream (or lunch) while watching planes. Then go for a walk in the nearby woods. A really nice afternoon with the kids.

I don't know where you'd get a better GA airfield with a friendlier people and reasonable fees closer to London. Highly recommended.
