Family Friends Vets

After my third visit to the vets today with my cat, the vet was extremely rude unprofessional, no empathy and before I even had a chance to voice my concerns about my pet, the vet was talking about money.. I hadn't even taken my cat out of the box. definitely not a Family friendly vets!!! Previously I had taken my cat to the vet as she had gone into premature labour with one of the kittens still alive after four had died, which was a very distressing experience the vet said my cat would have to go into surgery and be sterilised straight away and that the kitten would have to be put to sleep, she suspected two kittens were still inside, this was all done without any investigations. I chose to take my cat home as she had no temperature and was very scared due to all the noise coming from above the vets, The vet explained the next 24hrs would be critical if she would lose the other cats. I took time off work to look after my cat. I then took her back to the vets and was concerned about her not eating she was examined and I was told there might be one kitten inside or poo, yet again talking about money. She went on to give birth to a further two kittens that were dead. As you can imagine I was very worried about my poor girl and took her today to get checked over. The vet said I owed money for a previous consultation even though I had paid!! where the vet had felt her stomach and said maybe it was a kitten or poo!!! my response to her rudeness was that I am on the monthly payment plan which you have failed to contact me and carry out any health checks on my pet which are included in the plan take the money out of that if you believe I owe money .... This vets is completely after money not caring or emphatic don't take your pet here, even there own staff were telling me its a joke how much the vets charge in this country and if it was up to her it would be cheaper and more about about the animals welfare than money. Disgusting service!!!!

Worst vet I ever meet after year I decide leave this clinic they only use Metacam sterid for treatment for everything. Owner scan maybe 4 min my pregnant cat and he said everything is fine he find 2 kitten. But was 3 and one already died. 1

Can't recommend highly enough, have been with Family Friends for many years and appreciate being able to take our pets to a surgery in which we have complete trust. All staff are excellent, kind, caring and compassionate. Surgery is a clean, reassuring place for animals and their owners and we have complete confidence in their advice and treatment. Particular mention to Charlotte whose kindness and understanding have been much appreciated on recent visits, but many thanks to all staff for their help and professionalism.

I have had nothing but excellent service from all the staff here, and when extra time was needed it was given. Their charges are reasonable and there is always the sense that they care. Truly a sense of family
