Bought tickets for spooky Muncaster, midnight owls and the play in the castle. Grounds were fantastic, luckily the weather was perfect , midnight owls were super, the play had my daughter and I crying with laughter, clever, funny and totally great, well worth the extra money. We were privileged to be able to witness probably one of the only live performances in the country since march. Scary maze had us screaming. Congratulations to all at Muncaster, we will be back next Halloween, if not earlier. Season ticket well worth purchasing if you live locally .

Stunning bird display. The curator kept the tour and talk interesting even though it's pared back owing to the pandemic. Gardens always beautiful and it's the first time I've been in the autumn.

A great day out for all the family. The owl, hawk and eagle display was amazing and set to music, making it so atmospheric. The finale with the black kites was wonderful. The castle is quite homely yet steeped in history and the knowledgeable guides make it really interesting.

A very good place to spend around half day. There very large gardens and green spaces to walk around. A part from castle there is a sma bird sanctuary actually it's actually a Hawk & owl special sanctuary which is good to know about different species. The sensational birds of prey show is really great to watch, it happens twice a day in summer.

Briliant, wonderful, loved the huge gardens, the selection of plants and trees, the beauty of the castle overseeing the valey and the mountains. Make sure you check the times and get the guided tour so you can go inside the castle as well as they won’t let you visit it by yourself. The Maze is amazing, our child loved it to bits and went through it several times. The playground as well, very clean and well arranged. Friendly staff with a friendly attitude. If you come to the Lake District, please add Muncaster Castle to your list!
