Beautiful location, beautiful birds. The bird handler was very nice and informative. Charming bit quite small coffee shop. The only thing I would suggest is sign posts to the viewing field and a shelter over the seating area.

Although we didn't stay for the bird flying display, we spent a very pleasant hour walking around a beautiful walled garden looking at the large selection of birds of prey. Some birds are part of breeding programs and all seem well cared for. The small tea room attached to the bird of prey centre offers drinks, cakes and light meals in a quirky environment. The staff are friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend for a pleasant afternoon out

Excellent day out couldn't recommend it enough. Paul the falconer was really interesting very knowledgeable and made the display and talk fun and interactive. Great for kids and adults. All the visitors on our talk really enjoyed it. Would definitely go back again in the future. If I'm honest wasn't expecting much from a bird of prey centre in the Lake District but can see now why it's rated so highly on trip advisor

What a gem of a place! The couple running it are charming and can't do enough to make your visit here a memorable one. The food in the tea room was fantastic, the decor is quirky and very unique. The birds of prey display was excellent and I'm gutted my small children are currently to young to of sat through it all, they're 3 and 5. But we'll be bringing them back when they're old enough of to fully appreciate the beauty of the birds on display and the knowledge of the curator who does the displays. His knowledge and love of the birds he displays is enhanced by his humorous showmanship and lovely little tea room run by his wife, in my opinion, makes this a must visit attractions for everyone.

I have been to grander bird of prey performances because let's not kid ourselves that's what these shows are But never in all my years have I come away from such a display where I have felt so informed and educated. Found this place by accident while asking Google about local places of interest. Nice one GOOGLE
