Can sit out, on the tables and chairs. Which is handy at the moment. They are open longer throughout the day than most other chippies, which is even great in those days you fancy chips between 2-4 pm. Can sit in, if tiers permit.

This chippy is one of our favourite places to go for lunch. We have the pensioners specials which is fish and chips with either peas or bread and butter,plus a drink all for £5.70 brilliant value.Always served hot by pleasant waitresses. There are fewer tables at the moment due to the virus but we have never had to wait too long.Highly recommended.

I Called in on a whim while out for an evening walk before my evening meal in my hotel's restaurant, I then recieved a warm welcome and presented with the best fish &chips I had eaten in a long time. The second time I walked in I was ushered to a seat and a refreshing cup of tea was delivered without me having to ask as my "Usual" was prepared . In the 6 days I was in Kendal I dined there 4 times, that's how much I enjoyed their food. And I'm going back there in November!

Rated top in the area... Food poor, service not great and hygiene, given COVID-19 Regulations was very poor. If you go...clean your own table and sanitise your own cutlery and you'll be fine. Everything is deep fried so please be prepared for that too

Not the first time we have been here, it's worth travelling some distance to eat here. Highlights that you should be aware of.....the dining area inside is dog friendly !!, this is so rare these days and we usually have our black labrador when we visit. You may need an extra tummy too as the portion sizes are HUGE. Myself and our son split haggis and chips and we were both very satisfied. It's great to be able to get haggis at a chippy, simply not possible at home. I cant recommend too highly, down to 50% capacity at the moment, but this chippy should be packed at all times
