I stumbled on this place when looking for a quick cake and bought what turned out to be one of the nicest cakes I've ever had. I ended up ordering an afternoon tea for my birthday a few weeks later and was not at all disappointed. I huge amount of food and every single thing was tasty and high quality! I can't wait to go back to try more!

Fantastic up market café / patisserie with fantastic decor and ultra clean premises offering a good selection of pastries and cakes plus traditional afternoon teas all at sensible cost . There is also a savory selection of meals using only the finest quality ingredients available from local quality suppliers , which include quiche salads baked to very high standards , plus sandwiches and soup options , and for the more adventurous diner there are local cheese options . Staff are polite and friendly , and we were welcomed like old friends or family and soon seated in the upstairs room , which is very tastefully decorated in a Victorian reading room /study style and is quite the place for a romantic lunch or a special get together with friends or family. May I suggest this is a great place for the ladies to catch up on a hard earned rest after a serious shopping trip on the high street . A great place to visit in belper a real find !!!! I am sure that if you visit you will not be disappointed it really is a must place visit whilst in the neighborhood . I hope they continue to do well .

Visited beaurepaire for afternoon tea with my daughter today. A lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes. All beautiful presented by nice friendly staff. Great value and competitively priced. Look forward to our next visit.

Our favourite cafe we go to, the cakes are amazing and the afternoon teas are the best we've ever had! The staff are lovely and couldn't recommend it enough
