Whilst it was well organised in terms of covid, with a one way system and social distancing, the drinks were very slow to arrive and the ‘lattes’ very weak (more like an americano with a lot of milk). The Denby factory shop next door is great but we won’t be rushing back to the cafe.
Nice place, friendly staff, but avoid the sausage cobs, oversized bread that felt like it came recently out of the freezer, and the 'sausages' were tiny......work in progress I think on that one.
Sorry to say cold food .... (carvery and baked potato) ... let's not talk about forgetting half the order.... but thank you for the complimentary tea and flap Jack.
What a disorganized mess. The young man making drinks clearly has no people skills, moaning at others for no cups etc, spills milk, clears it up and doesn't even bother to wash his hands! Then carriers on serving putting his hands in the cups. Not a place I will be rushing back to. Put on more staff at busy times please...£2.70 for milkshake thats basically nesquick...disappointing as its a lovely shopping outlet.
Very good Americano and cheese scone. Lovely emporium, and food market. Beautiful pottery of course. A really nice place to visit. The plant stall and pots section is very good too.
