Been here twice and both times got here at 6pm and told they were not serving hot food as they were doing a 'deep clean'. ... even though the Cafe is open until 7pm..... looks like the staff just want to pack up early.....

I have been to Sainsbury's cafe must be dozens of times in the past, but not been for a while. This visit was disappointing. I had a beef burger chips and salad. The burger was nice but small and it came with 6 chips, I could count them at one glance and I'm not talking beefy chips, with a tiny side salad. Two of these with a large fizzy drink each was nearly 16 quid. Very poor value for money.

A good place to get some decent food when finishing the food shopping trip with the friendly staff and plenty of places to sit down. The only criticism is the place is showing a bit of damage around the decor and might need a little TCL.

Told 30 mins to toast a pannini. When I challenged it the staff member shrugged and said "It is what it is". Place needed a good clean too.
