Fantastic delivered meal from Morley Hayes, as good as in the restaurant. It was our anniversary, the person taking our order asked me if it was for a special occasion. It was a lovely touch to receive a hand written card with they're best wishes. Highly recommended. We will be ordering again soon. Only problem is I think my wife is contemplating never cooking again!. I don't write reviews but it was great and they need our support!. Thank you. Mr Hoskin

I would like to raise a complaint regarding mine and my partners experience at the Golf Range on Sunday 5th December at around roughly 8pm. This was mine and my partners first time visiting yourselves and we have never been golfing before after driving past Morley Hayes quite a few times and having a look at the Christmas Lights we noticed the golf range and thought that we might give it a go the following day, my partner rang up earlier in the day (Sunday) to ask some advice about the visit and how much it would cost etc the lady on the phone was lovely and gave us some advice and what to expect on our visit. We turned up to the Golf Range just before 8pm we walked in and as we have never been before we didn't really know where to go or what to do (There was two members of staff at the next who didn't ever acknowledge or speak to us) so I asked the man at the desk who then replied quite abruptly "I can't hear you you'll have to talk louder" he was very rude and from his body language it didn't seem like he wanted to help, I spoke louder and asked again explaining we have never been before and have was thinking of taking this up as a new activity. He then once again very abrupt pointed at the price list. My partner then asked him which clubs would he recommend using on the range, the man at the desk didn't answer and me and my partner just looked at each other. The man came round the desk eventually and told my partner which ones to try. This whole experience made us feel very uncomfortable we thought it would be nice to try something new but this experience has put us off, the man and the lady at the desk didn't even seem like they wanted to help us. I suffer with anxiety as well and I honestly felt like walking out as it felt like they were looking down their noses at us. I'm extremely disappointed by this experience and how we was treated. Me and my partner was extremely shocked by this and I told one of my friends about the experience we had with yourselves and unfortunately being treated like this is how bad word of mouth starts. I do not appreciate being made to feel inadequate and feeling that uncomfortable that I wanted to leave and didn't even then want to give the man eye contact.

My grandmother placed an order yesterday for a delivery for 6pm today. As it did not arrive at 6pm, she phoned at 6.15 to check on its progress, and was told it would arrive at 6.30pm. When she queried the half hour delay, the woman on the phone rudely and repeatedly said 'i took your order yesterday, and you were told that it would arrive at 6.30'. When the delivery arrived, the bag clearly stated that the delivery had been placed for 6pm. We felt my grandmother, a regular customer throughout lockdown, had been rudely spoken to and condescendingly treated, especially as she was in the right, and spending three figures.

Usually very impressed with service and food from here, but on our visit today the wait for food was over an hour, and service was slow with things forgotten. Obviously, with virus restrictions in place it is understandable service would take longer than normal, but I have been in other establishments achieving this to a higher standard despite the situation. Hope this improves if we visit again.

Just wanted to express my thanks to all today at the Dovecote restaurant for a first class Sunday lunch meal for our family of four. As long time devotees of Morley Hayes we have missed our trips to your eateries, but were highly delighted today with the service provided by Simon & his team. The steps taken by the management for being Covid compliant are second to none. Please visit with full confidence. You will not be disappointed.
