Excellent place for a safe walk in beautiful surroundings. When we visited the 5*cafe was open & did takeaways too. Will definitely go back

I've been twice and it is one of my favourite house and gardens. Both times I have been it's looked as beautiful as always, incredibly tidy and clean. The house is very interesting and pretty and the topiary and gardens are spectacular! It's very fun to wander around and in the far left corner the head gardener sells honey. We've bought the honey both times and it is delicious! After you have explored the garden and house you can then go to the cafe. Even the cafe is equally as beautiful, and has very very good food - the fries are delicious!

Went here with my wife and almost 5 year old. We had a great time around the gardens, and the cafe was superb. We then walked around the deer park afterwards, about 4 miles, which was great too.

We've been meaning to visit the gardens for about 30 years, but the opening times never fitted our schedule. It was certainly worth the wait. The gardens are laid out with style and humour, and we spent a good two hours in a garden whose owners knew what they were doing. Unfortunately we didn't have time for the house which looks amazing from the outside, because of a 4 hour drive home, but will return maybe next year in the spring.

Fabulous place, amazing gardens and great tour of the house. Nice cafe as well and the food is very good. Highly recommended 👍
