The gardens are still lovely with flowers in the spring walk,swans on the mirror lake and beautiful walks. The cafe and shop were open and we enjoyed a delicious hot pasty. We'll be back after lockdown to see the amazing spring flowers.
The gardens were lovely. Cafe very accommodating. Could do with a wider selection though. The jacket potato was very nice. Staff at reception were very helpful with regards to my Mum's mobility issues. Thank you to all concerned. Booking as a member of the national trust was easy to. Thank you to the team at Sizerg castle.
Really lovely place. The gardens are lovely and was fairly easy for my husband to walk round as his balance is not good. It is fairly flat and quite z few seats for him to rest.
Great site and a stunning location. I recommend the blue trail walk. Although it is uphill, if you go past the church you can get stunning views across from Morecomb bay in the south to the lake hills in the north.
Visited when the covid 19 restrictions were in place, so the house was closed. However the grounds to the place are lovely and so nice to walk through. Paths make it easy with a pram and the gardens/flowers were just stunning.
Plenty of parking and a gift shop and cafe on site. A great place to visit and would recommend it.
