Superdrug

I really liked this store, earlier there was nice staff and helpful. I do not know what happened to the staff in this store, because recently I I've been there several times and two of the women who work there, one in blond, the other in dark hair, slightly with overweight, behave vulgarly, very rude. They are unhelpful, speak out curses among themselves, they chew gum. I asked for help in choosing a cosmetic, neither of these two ladies did not give me information, grunted and went away, whining under his breath, having no idea about the products. The behavior of these two saleswomen is really gross. I am shocked that such people with pathological behavior represent such a popular store.

I often shop for basic things i need I don't over-spend, i know what i came in for, Also during this pandemic i also stick to the rules shop staff have given us, so all of us are safe and can shop calmly and stress free and keep a fair distance from other people and be patient.

Great for makeup (And no I'm not a girl). The reason I have given 4 stars is the lip balm (Vaseline) is a bit overpriced. Instead of being 99p like most lip balms it is about £1.99. But still very convenient. They also have a pharmacy so I would actually say 4.5 stars if I could.

Firstly the pharmacy staff are brilliant, they are all very friendly, knowledgeable and behave professionally, and even when they are busy are not actually rude to their customers, and I can only commend them on their high level of competence. Sadly they are let down by just two of the women who work on the shop floor, both of whom I believe to be supervisors. I'm guessing they were promoted well beyond their capabilities. Most of the ladies who have worked in the shop are very pleasant, unfortunately I don't know any of the names, a couple stand out, a lady with very short blonde hair, probably in her mid 40s and the Scots girl was really friendly and helpful, sadly she appears to have left a while ago leaving the angry blonde and young angry bespectacled girl. I made the mistake of asking the angry blonde woman a question about a skincare products efficacy, and instead of politely saying "I'm sorry I'm not familiar with this product, let me see if somebody else is" she became huffy with me for wasting her time asking about a product I was about to spend money on. In the end I purchased it from an online retailer where it was cheaper anyway. In case it seems I am coming across as harsh judging staff on one off incidents, when individual staff members may have just been having a bad day, I have health problems and use the pharmacy here most weeks, sometimes more than once a week, so am familiar with this rude behaviour, and it isn't one off having-a-bad-day behaviour, it's every-day-she's-working-dislikes-customers behaviour (I noted she was pleasant to the staff though, I guess they are more important than the paying customers.) Having looked at what another reviewer has said of this store, it looks like some of the shop staff dislike people with disabilities/mobility problems and doesn't think that we are sprinting to the till area at a fast enough pace. If that is the case, a shop with a pharmacy within probably isn't the best place for them to work as people with health problems often don't move very fast, I know when I'm in a lot of pain I don't. If shops are to survive in the days of e-retailers they need to retrain staff such as angry blonde and young angry girl or less and less will be spent at stores like Superdrug. It's such a shame as I used to purchase a lot in here and now I mainly only use the pharmacy, not the shop.
