Wonderful vegetarian cafe.
Owner was really helpful, she even waited for us after her usual closing time so we could get take outs.
Coffee with soya milk and vegan treacle tart were scrumptious after a morning walk up Mam Tor.
Lovely friendly place. The cake is tasty. Enjoyed the gluten free coconut cake, although the date and walnut cake was the best in my opinion as it was not too sweet. The toasties were amazing. I loved the mozzerella, pesto and sun-dried tomato combination. Trying the homity pie for tea tonight. The staff are always busy making fresh creations but never too busy to give you advice on how to reheat items.
A must visit vegetarian cafe if you are in or around Youlgrave. Loved Treacle tart, Homity pie 🥧 both are eggless too and coffee walnut cake. Bakewell Tart is also a speciality. And very reasonably priced.
Lovely, friendly little outdoor cafe. Lunch was very nice and the pie we got to have for tea later was delicious.
Excellent place to stop for a cuppa and a cake or something more substantial while walking
