Brought a jvc stereo in for repair advised nothing could be done due to lockdown which I agreed rang them back a few days later to ask for my stereo back and they wouldnt give it me they said it was at the shop and I would have to wait. I waited until when was said and now they told me I have to wait another 3 days they have also said they are charging me 32 pound for not carrying out any work due to the fact they are not earning due to lockdown they said I broke the contract terms asking for the device back before they carried out any work.

Took my active speakers in for repair, fully explained the problem, work carried out and the repair cost was very reasonable, might have to go back for a better car audio system now....thanks very much

I am a car dealer based in Chesterfield . We have taken many cars with electrical sound system faults down to Kays over the years Craig has always been enthusiastic and always managed to get the job done excellent knowledge and extremely competitive on price. Thanks for all your help Craig .

We've hired various pieces of equipment over the last 3 years for events at our bar and restaurant in Chesterfield. Mostly sound systems but also snow machines and lighting effects and we have been more than happy with the service and price. The guys at kays particularly helped us out last minute for an event yesterday - thank you we had a fabulous night x

Reply to Simon Smith, The system you required didn't not involve a sound tec as, according to our records, you did not ask or pay for a full night sound operator. The job we were paid for was a simple set up which includes: sound testing to make sure equipment is in working order,sound levels are left to the hire person, as we did explain, roughly when hired,the system was left by me, set up and in working order but needed fine tuning by an operator which I explained and showed them how it was to be done and how to work the desk. Sorry for any inconvenience, but we were on the end of the phone if you had problems and we could have talked you through it and helped you. Many thanks, Kays Electronics
