Initially very friendly and sympathetic, couldn't do enough. Until they demanded the payment in full otherwise the funeral would not go ahead. Meaning our loved one could have been waiting for weeks or even months to be put to rest. We were refused a payment plan and felt we had no choice but to put ourselves in debt so not to cancel the arranged funeral. States a family business, but clearly owned by a chain. Will never use again as they added stress to our grieving family. Unless you have a free £4000 then use a different company that show genuine compassion and also offer a payment plan to ease the burden.

At a time when most people cannot think straight, Wettons are the best people to take care of you. Organising everything is what they do best, and always take the time if you wish to talk. It is with great sorrow that Peter has now retired and he will be missed but everything must continue, and hopefully Wettons will be around for many years to come.

I’m writing this message on behalf of my grandma as she don’t have a computer I had the most horrendous experience payment Was demanded up front before any funeral or service was carried out my parter of 25years was left in the hospital when sadly past away he wasn’t collected from the hospital they used an excuse of they was waiting for paper work then he was at another franchise I didn’t see my partner till 17 days later At this point I didn’t recognise my partner deteriorated that much in 17 days I didn’t recognise him 😢 Would not recommend!!!
