Awesome run with my wheelchair bound partner. Up to north end and back was just short of half marathon, so we wend south just a short distance to top it up. The views were splendid, and it was good to have several services options on the way if needed. Will come back!
Lovely area on the Tissington trail. Great views west from here and at points along this part. Has restored signal box. Also toilets. Charges apply 09.00 - 18.00.
What a lovely car park. Tarmac surface, clear signage and all outdoors. Perfect mixture. Would reccomend for car park connoisseurs.
If you purchase a peak District car park permit which costs about £42 per year this allows you to park for free as long as you display the permit. They is plenty of space what ever day you go on. You can walk from here to parsley hay which is two miles away where you will find a take away cafe, toilets and bike hire.
Lovely pay and display car park with plenty of parking. Toilets available which were clean. This is on the disused railway line which is easy walking and popular with cyclists. Parsley Hay is 2 miles to the north with a cafe and visitors centre. There is an old signal box here to look at. Good views in all directions.
