A conveniently placed car park, with a food outlet (separate review done on that) for the Tissington and High Peak trails. There is also a cycle hire here too in-between lockdowns.
Toilets, a cafe and a car park in the middle of the countryside alongside a cycling track. What's not to like?
Great place to park fairly central on the Tissington and High Peak trails
the cafe was opened on friday on October during covid-19 pandemic, the opening time is uncertain during the weekday. the parking fee is £4.75 for all day. it accepts cards and cash.
it has toilets, bicycle hire shop and a cafe but the cafe was shut on march 2019 wednesday
Really good gift shop with maps, cycling equipment and Peak District souvenirs. Clean toilets including non locked accessible one. Hot drinks, ice-cream and snacks. Cycle and mobility scooter hire from £6 per hour. Really nice helpful staff in the visitor centre. Good accessible car parking and easy access to start or end of 13.5 mile Tissington Trail to Ashbourne.
