My children love feeding the ducks and the park. We love the promenade walk and cannot wait for the tea rooms to reopen. Maybe next year we will get to take out a rowing boat again.
Nice Riverside location located next to the world heritage mill. Great start / end point for walks around belper and the local area.
The new tea rooms currently being built look like a good addition to the site.
A well cared for outdoor area in the Belper vicinity. Usually peaceful, with bird-life to add to the scene. There's a little park for children also. Bandstand to boot. Nice to lose an hour or so here if your wife wants to go to Morrison's and you're not really up for it. I'd rather get chased by geese👍
Not been here for years, its smaller than i remember you could i thought walk right down the river but not anymore, and the old tea rooms have been replaced with a new building which is a shame but still a pleasent walk round
A pleasant little park and garden especially in the summer. Lots of lovely plants and flowers and winding walkways and wild fowl on the river.However it is spoilt at present by the building site created by reconstruction of a new tea room which is taking a seemingly endless time! When that is complete and the park restored to its former glory it will be a huge asset to Belper.
