I was going to give it 2-3 stars for the poor customer service and pushy snobby branch manager nearly shoving excess protection cover down my throat at the time of my rental. Me: "I have excess protection already from third party, so, no, thank you. " Branch Manager: "Where did you buy it? How much was it? £7? Seven pounds for 2 days? So you think that this cheap cover is good enough? Better than ours? Ours is £16 a day, so which one do you think is better? Your cheap one or ours, more expensive?" Me: "I'm willing to take that risk. I understand that you have to try to sell it to me but I'm honestly OK." BM: "I'm the manager of this branch. I don't need to try to sell anything to anyone" Me: "No thank you. I'll take that risk." BM: "OK" So it was supposed to be 2-3 star review but on top of the above, after I returned the vehicle, I noticed that I have left my parking permit in the rental. I contacted the branch as soon as I have noticed that. Unfortunately the car has been already rented out again and permit hasn't been handed in to Lost & Found. I was told that it must have been still in the car with the new customer. I was also told by two separate people on two separate occasions that I would be contacted as soon as the car returns. For me it means I should have been contacted whether or not the pass have been found. The car must have been rented immediately after I have handed it back in so based on that I'm guessing that there are no COVID-19 measures preventing possibility of passing on the virus to next customer as the car should have been cleaned between customers. If there were any then any items left and belonging to previous customer would have been handed to Lost & Found. Hence conclusion about car not being thoroughly cleaned between customers. (The website clearly states there are extra cleaning procedures in place and lists all areas of the car that are being cleaned.) Also, during booking I chose the option to upgrade to higher level car (Large Compact) for small fee. Unfortunately I was given option of two lower level cars or I had to wait for other car to be cleaned. The car was OK, after all, and this is only a very minor complaint. But on return of the vehicle I've never seen anyone inspect alloy wheels this closely (5-10 seconds each alloy from 30cm distance). Of course it was inspected by the same snobby branch manager. Made me chuckle.

The staff at this branch are providing a great service From welcome to booking in my vehicle everything was completed in a quick friendly and efficient manner followed by quite a lengthy ride back made a pleasure with a very enjoyable conversation. The only problem was my failure to remember the names of those I had dealing with as they definitely deserve praise. Thank you all 😄👍

I booked a medium sized van in my husband name one month before. They told I will be getting the booking confirmation via email. But I haven't got it even after 3 weeks. I called them again to confirm my booking and they told my booking is Confirmed( with my booking reference number, pick up and drop off date and location,for a medium sized van for £103) and details will be send via email. But again I didn't receive any email confirmation of booking. Today morning I called them again to confirm my booking and the guy told me that Instead of Van, I have booked for a car, I asked them to chage it into a medium sized van and he put me on queue for about half an hour and phone got disconnected at the end. I called them again and a lady picked up, I gave her my booking reference number, name of the driver(husband's name) pick up date and drop of date, pick up location and drop of location. She told I have booked for a car, but the dates are incorrect so she can't confirm the details with me and my husband has to call them again wheras he is working full time even on weekends. she just can't book a reservation for me!!and at the last moment we have to find an alternative for shifting!!! We needed the Van within a week and the customer service is awful.i would never recommend their service to anyone.

Hit and miss here. Get a good staff member your sound. Get someone who cba and it shows..... lol

Had a vehicle while mine was being repaired. I drive a combi van as have a big family and the young lad there did not listen to what I wanted, so ended up with only a 3 seater van which wasn't what I wanted. On returning it happened to deal with the manager who apologised for the problem. The service from them was great apart from the one member of staff. I rent vans from them for work and they are always great.
