Unbelievable, the recent takeover wouldn't provide any contact number to call and wouldn't call me, communication only via email. Yet increasing my monthly fee - whilst not providing a service. Nothing but stress, avoid BAS and Charterhouse Accountants at all costs.
Very willing, completely incapable. My year long experience of working with BAS was emails not responded to, phone calls not returned, work left until days before HMRC deadlines. This caused me so much unnecessary stress and wasted a lot of my time as I'd have to email/phone multiple times about the same thing and repeatedly check my inbox in the hope of a response. Friendly staff if you can get though to them though.
Great service and advice from a no nonsense, speak in English not legalese accountancy firm. Good value and friendly. 😀👍
I have used Burton Accountancy services for many years. Unfortunately after a recent takeover I would never use them again. They told me my accounts had been filed last June, invoiced me which I paid. Then this February HMRC fined me £100 for not putting my accounts in. Burton Accountancy refused to do anything about it or refund me. Very rude as well. Moved now.
