It was busy at Mam Tor with sledgers and snowman building. Really beautiful, less busy as we walked on. Amazing views and great clear paths

Epic views on an easy yet satisfyingly steep walk, continue to lose hill or mam tor for a longer walk. Easily accessed via back tor farm path from YHA edale

Spectacular views, even on a cloudy day. sturdy boots recommended Cafes in the nearby towns for refreshments.

We parked on the road in a lay by where the Pennine way footpath crosses the road and then walked along the path heading to Man Tor, we kept walking for a total of 3 hours. The scenery is spectacular, the weather was just right, sunshine and a breeze. After 3 hours we turned back to the car. We will definitely go back and give ourselves more time to walk further
