Fantastic location for some amazing woodland walks. Hair-raising crossing point if you want to go to the woodland and the other side of the road (which is well worth visiting, I will say) so cross with extreme caution. However quick the cars seem, they are quicker than that! Lots to explore though, at either side. Perfect for the hiking obsessed 👍🏻

Great location near to snake woodlands. Free to park. Super busy on a Sunday! We got there at 9:30am and got the last space!

Good, free car park allowing easy access to a variety of routes up into the moors or along the River Ashop. Can fill up very quickly on weekends or just generally during good weather.

Great place for a more remote walk. Be careful crossing the road into Snake Woodlands - the cars round the bend well fast

Great place to park up and walk in the snake Woodlands. I've also parked here overnight and had no problems.
