What a lovely local shop with extremely friendly people, they have adapted to the current situation and are a true example of making the best out of a bad deal. Oh and the food is fresh and delightful, reasonably priced to!

Rude and dismissive. Entered the shop and politely approached a staff member working at the counter. I explained that I wanted to buy something but I was "desperate to use the toilet." The reply was curt, dismissive and had an air of "hard luck."
She explained that during the pandemic the facilities were shut. I asked if there were any other facilities or pubs nearby. The answer was "no."
This turned out to be totally incorrect. Whilst I fully understand businesses having to comply with government recommendations; I have a strong suspicion that if I had been 50 years older and female; the response would have been entirely different.
No empathy and seemed more concerned with paying lip service to scientifically flawed government guidelines than helping a person in need. Shameful.
Brilliant service live nearby so a nice shop to get essentials especially over this tough period they stay open.
Lovely stop for. Brekkie roll and a tea or coffee. Staff lovely and very helpful
Nice chunk of sponge cake and coffee whilst taking a break from a cycle route.
