These reviews should be for the maternity car park only. Anyway the maternity car parking is a great idea of course. There are some spaces for people to rush into hospital and quickly park and get quick access to the maternity department. Once you are sorted and panic over you can move your car and make the spaces available for others in a similar situation. Likewise when you are picking up your newborn you have somewhere to temporarily park whilst you quickly go in and assist your other half with your new addition. HOWEVER in reality it doesn't work like that. Basically all sorts of morons will use the maternity parking as their own temporary drop off and pick up point. These are people who are nothing to do with the maternity department. The parking attendants do nothing.
Too expencive
Good service on maternity partners and the security service were great
Disgusting amount of cigarette ends and people smoking straight under the no smoking sign. This is a hospital. The board should be ashamed of themselves. No security or staff approach these people. However someone who is ill and being visited is subject to high cost parking. How about using some of the revenue to police smokers. I do not expect to visit a hospital and get someone's cigarette smoke in my face. You should be ashamed of your self's. ....spineless comes to mind.
