I’m writing this review on behalf of my Mum. If it wasn’t for Carols kind words & reassurance I don’t think I’d I’ve even got her through the door. She went above & beyond to book her appointments at quieter times as she also had mobility issues. At her first appointment she was a nervous wreck, but we couldn’t have had a nicer Dentist .Vishali was lovely, she explained everything to her & was so patient . Mum had to have quite a few appointments & by the end of her treatment, she was a different woman. She has gained so much confidence & it’s hard to believe it’s the same woman who was shaking like a leaf at her first appointment. All the staff are a credit to the practice Marion thanks you all very much 🤗 xxxx

In the past I have never been a fan of visiting the dentist as I am sure many people can appreciate! However since joining this practice approx 3 years ago I no longer have any concerns, I have always found the staff to be professional and the dentist is a fantastic man who always puts me at ease and seems to know when I am getting a little ‘nervous’ in any treatments and responds appropriately to help. I have visited private practices and some NHS too in the past who always seemed to find some sort of ‘requirement’ for work to be undertaken...which I am sure was not 100% required however this has never been an issue at Swadlincote..I have full trust in their capabilities. I have never had any issues when cancelling appointments and re-booking as they understand we all have busy lives with pressures, stick to the rules and there’s no problems! My only concern now is my dentist trying to take early retirement!

Few years ago attended, receptionists and nurses were fine but found young dentist to be very arrogant, she was around an hour late arriving for whatever reason (was never informed just saw her rush in) and I had gone because one of the roots were still in my gum where the out of hours team removed a painful tooth. Dentist kept arguing with me saying it was food, made me feel like I didn't clean my teeth properly, no amount of flushing removed it because I eventually I managed to dig it out myself and it was indeed bone, as the O. O. H team stated I had 4 instead of the usual 2, but would this dentist listen?. Never went back after that, went to sinfin and far better!!

The dentist here are lovely but the older receptionist is absolutely vile (I think her names carol) acts like she owns the place and can be so rude to customers, might I add who already feel vulnerable because no one likes going to the dentist. Maybe management should send her to some customer service classes. For this reason I won’t be returning.
