I booked the Owl Experience, a one to one experience with a free spectator, for my husband who is a wheelchair user. Ben and Lisa had obviously put some thought into tailoring the experience for him and it was a lovely way to spend the morning. Everyone, including the owls, was calm and very friendly. There’s a cafe and loos on-site and plenty of parking.
Got the one to one experience for my husband who loves birds but is a little fearful of them near him, however he loves to photograph them and after reading reviews from others this was recommended as being able to be tailored to suit individual needs. Certainly didn't disappoint and at the end my husband was even holding the birds to the glove! The whole experience was amazing and the accompanying knowledge about each bird and background into falconry only added to the enjoyment. I would certainly recommend BB falconry to anyone wanting a truly individual experience and we will return in the future. The only thing wrong with our day was it having to end!!!!
Thank you to Ben and Lisa for an absolutely amazing day on Saturday. As someone who has had a fear of birds for as long as I can remember I decided to join my family on the Bird of Prey Experience to try and start to overcome this fear and I'm so glad I did . I was immediately put at ease by how friendly and down to earth Ben and Lisa were . I was supported the whole time and only encouraged to take part if I was completely comfortable , which turned out to be pretty much everything. I learnt so much on the day their knowledge is amazing and the birds up close are so beautiful . I can't thank you enough for helping me to see these birds in a different light . My family and I are already discussing which experience to do next and I can't wait ( never thought I'd be saying that) . Thanks again for an amazing experience and we'll be seeing you soon . Highly recommend a visit .

We had a fantastic morning at BB Falconry which we had bought for us for Christmas. Ben and Lisa made our visit very memorable and they are passionate about their birds. We spent lots of time flying different owls and learning about them which we found very interesting. I would definitely recommend anyone who likes birds to pay BB. Falconry a visit. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
My present to my husband for Xmas which was delayed due to covid but now reestablished. We both love contact with birds but especially Martin who has a lot of knowledge but we learnt so much from Ben and Lisa.The Owls and Harris Hawks were beautiful and their behaviour fascinating.
We were a small group and the experience felt very intimate with constant handling for Martin.As a spectator I benefitted from watching all the birds flying and feeding on the glove.The morning flew by and the midday Hawk Walk round the fields was good fun ,again we loved the birds sociable nature and observed their flying, feeding and development
Thank you both for a wonderful time, we would encourage everyone to visit this falconry.Lisa was very helpful reorganising the experience and its the best day we've had for ages.
