Very competitive pricing, Europcar Exeter is located on Marsh Barton trading estate.
I reserved a car booking online which was simple and collected it from the office, although there was a wait to get the car, the service was very efficient and friendly.
Social distancing controls were well signed and handwash was available, I was impressed by the staff who cleaned down the seat and desk after the previous customer. Would highly recommend.
Waited an hour for the car to be cleaned and fuelled after being told it would take 5-10 minutes. Would have taken even longer if we hadn’t asked to cut the cleaning short to speed things up. Worse part is that we just got lame excuses from the staff instead of any recognition of how unacceptable that is. Appreciate they are were calm and polite but generally felt fobbed off and gave an impression of an unprofessional company. Also, claiming things to be in their T&Cs that are not. Will avoid.

Very friendly staff and a good clean car. However, naming this place ‘city centre’ is inaccurate as it’s in the middle of nowhere and getting a taxi to or from was difficult as we had a dog with us. Finally took a bus to another bus then walked. I would suggest renting from Europcar at St.David but they are limited by Saturday collecting or drop off.
