A big thank you to Argos Exeter. I ordered some cot sheets from the Guildhall store to be delivered to my home. I mentioned that 9 times out of 10 couriers failed to locate me. This was probably the case but Argos had them delivered by Royal Mail. Thank you Sylvia who was just wonderful. Argos - above and beyond the call of duty. Appreciate it 🤗

I've always liked Argos and shopped here for all sorts. Unfortunately they have downgraded the shopping experience making it less efficient to pay for your items by removing the quick, know what you want, have a reservation and just want to pay for your purchase points. Previously I'd walk in, phone in hand, enter my reservation, pay and wait to collect. All the quick pay points have been removed and replaced with 'stand here and browse endlessly with your entire extended family and maybe actually buy something in an hour points'. At busy times this means you are forced to queue at the staffed checkouts and the kind of people that go to these want to chat. They have questions. Their payment cards dont always get approved. They want to return items... The good thing though is after you have paid and been issued a collection number you dont have to wait long as hardly anyone in the shop hogging the payment points are actually making purchases.

The customer service is not that great. I've had my ups and downs with Argos. There's really no assurance that the delivery will arrive on time. Hoping for better experiences in the future.
