Nice shop with beautiful shoes. The service and correspondences with Kelvin was exceptional. I wanted to support British shoemaking and I will treasure my pair of Loake Torrington.
If your after quality handcrafted British made shoes, look no further. This was my first visit to Loake, and let me just say how impressed I was. Kelvin and the team were extremely patient and informative. They offered me tea as I tried on different pairs. You could get these shoes online, but if you want the hospitality and a great service, then drop in store. They were even kind enough to throw in a free shoe cream, and told me that if I was having any difficulty in polishing that I was welcome to drop in and be shown. Real professionals! In the end, I went for these gorgeous Buckingham shoes. Loake also offer full resoling. My first Loake pair, they did me proud.
Bought a pair of Loake Brogues and Kevin & Kelvin were exceptionally helpful! Good advice, friendly staff and quality leather shoes.

The service here was that good I felt it my duty to leave a good review!! What can I say, staff were extremely informative and knowledgable, friendly, well mannered ... they even asked if I would like a drink of tea or water ... what other shoe shop does that!? Needless to say their range of shoes were excellent, well made and the staff made my life easier when it came to deciding what shoes I should buy. Overall 5 stars! If you like decent footwear, I cannot recommend this shop enough!!
I had a great time buying shoes from Kelvin and the team, not every day you get a whiskey whilst choosing shoes. The expertise, advice and down to earth conversation was brilliant. I left feeling they were the pride of the high street, an experience you definitely would never get online. Friendly, unpretentious and genuinely interested in making sure you get what you need. Much appreciated.
