Beautiful to walk around with the kids and dog. See the wildlife around the lake and play in the wood. Great fun and free, only have to pay parking which is more than worth it.

A winter walk beside water inlets and lake. Plenty of birdlife and path good for buggies and wheelchairs around the lake. Dogs on leads please due to proliferation of ducks, swans and other waterbirds. Great for kids to explore the trails. Lots to fascinate & look for. Go every season to capture the contrasts. Well go again when spring is truly set.

Perfect for bird spotting, a peaceful walk, fun walk with kids, pushchair/wheelchair accessible. Has toilets and in the warmer seasons an ice cream van. Would recommend to anyone. There is also a variety of walks so I'll be back again soon. Parking can be tricky but I've never not been able to get a space.
