Very interesting museum covering many aspect of Christchurch through the years. Well worth a visit. Some interesting special exhibitions also held. Check for details of extra attractions. Also tea & cake!

Absolutely a delight to visit. Not pretentious or seeking to make money off you. Staff extremely friendly. Serve a great cup of coffee at very reasonable prices. Even seek the occasional plant at five away prices. Loved this place and it's FREE to enter. Give it a thought. They deserve the patronage for their fine service.

Great little museum with a variety of displays and objects from the local area. Friendly staff and a nice cafe and shop.
