Nice and helpful staff at first... I had booked a small city car and was given a people carrier instead. I have returned the vehicle in perfect conditions on a Sunday (office was closed) and found out the following day that I had been charged £ 370 for a damage that I had supposedly caused, which is untrue!!!!! I have a photo of the same damage clearly already there at the time of pick-up... absolutely appalling behaviour, but having read other comments scamming customers seems to be a common practice here.
From Start to finish my rental experience was top class. Everyone very helpful. Thank you to John and Katie for supplying the car for the family and thank you to all the cleaning team for giving us a lovely clean car!! Will defo be using again!! Very efficient and very helpful team all round!! Such a pleasure to have everyone so happy helpful!!

Disgraceful company. Got an upgrade because a staff member nearly knocked my child unconscious while not looking where he was going. Returned the car in perfect condition out of hours only to get an email the next day saying there was £500 worth of damage to the paint and a wheel. Sent a few pictures of a random wheel! Could belong to any car. Absolute scam. Will never use Hertz again, disgusted with their behaviour.
What a breath of fresh air. Staff extremely helpful a and friendly. Not pushy.
A problem was resolved quickly and professionally. Will always use Hertz at Bournemouth from now on.
