We’ve just returned from a wonderful week in Hammoon and rediscovered the newly sited Oxford’s bakery, a bracing walk on the Dorset trail away in Sturminster Newton. The walk there and back allowed us to sample the delights of breakfast, lunch and snacks, all of which were first rate. Whilst the new venue is still a little basic, it has all the necessary amenities made all the more pleasant by the genuinely warm welcome received when entering Oxford’s bakery. We are non milk drinkers so tried the oat latte, which turned out to be one of the best we’ve had (easily better than most of the coffee house chains here in Reading) we did try other places during our week in Dorset, but it became a firm favourite and one we happily recommend to others. Great bread, delicious pastries and wonderful toasties made Oxfords a must visit!
Excellent products, baked in an old fashioned way with the best ingredients. Their bread is a pleasure to eat (must be real butter). I find their prices on the high side, so for me, it's not a regular stop...but I can't resist for long. You get what you pay for, artisan produced proper food.
A particularly delicious sour dough loaf. Also got brownies, millionaires shortbread and chocolate coated flapjack. All really yummy
Came here for sausage rolls and a lardy cake, the best sausage rolls I’ve ever had! Highly recommended!
Wonderful pastry on the sausage roll, extremely well made sarnie, super cool little chick serving. Nice one
