Always manage to find what I want in here.
I'm not convinced the 'bargains' are all they're cracked up to be. But it's the kind of place that's worth keeping an eye on, as stocks change very quickly. The homewares side of the business (Homesense) seems to be taking priority over the clothing side more and more.
Plenty of parking at this store as it's at Castlepoint shopping centre.
Well, I walked in with zero expectations and walked out with £65 less in my wallet. Unfortunately due to covid, you cannot try on any clothes. This saved me from losing another £100 or more from my wallet since my wife had to put back all clothes she picked up.
It's going to be challenging to sell clothes if you can't try them on. It's a hard balance between safety and needing to do business. IMO, trying on clothes should be allowed to some extent, but it's a challenging balance.
Queued up to go in and queued up again once inside. However, queue moved very quickly. Shop very tidy as only 141 customers allowed in store. Plenty of nice staff around to help and tidy up. No queues at the checkout! I probably spent the same amount of time at the shop as usual.
Home department is good, clothing is like all tkmaxx be prepared to spend ages looking through lots of tat before finally finding one item you like just to realise someone has put wrong size garment on wrong size rail.....annoying.com
