No problem. Time it right it's fine. OK it's small but what do you need. Found the staff friendly efficient and professional. My first visit and reading the previous reviews I think it's ok
Shocking treatment of my elderly mum who accidentally left her face mask at home. She offered to remain outside rather than go into the pharmacy but they still refused to deal with her prescription. They had a box of masks on the counter but woukd not give/sell her one. Another elderly customer offered to get her prescription and they finally agreed. My mum had an eye op on the 19th and needed her drops; it is the 1st time she has gone out without her mask. When I contacted the manager her attitude was equally shocking and not remotely apologetic.
This pharmacy is very convenient for me. I have always found the staff very efficient. Unfortunately it is quite small. Hopefully in the future it may be able to offer a better service with more choice if made bigger, particularly bearing in mind the new housing developments nearby and the closure if the pharmacy in the square.
Today Christmas Eve I went to collect a long standing prescription which had been ordered a week ago, only to be told that as the pharmacist had been called away on an emergency they were unable to hand out the prescription. No notice on the door to say this either which would have avoided me queueing only to be told this! Normally helpful in here it's a good job my medicine wasn't for a life threatening condition.
My 82 year old mother was on a 40mg steroid tablet a day and because the staff were lazy they gave her 1mg tablets expecting an 82 year old lady to take 40 tablets a day along with the other tablets she already takes.
The other day my mother passed away and I went down to return her surplus medication to be told they had too many tablets in the pharmacy and they didn’t want them. Again too lazy to help. Today I went to pick up my fathers medication whilst four members of staff were discussing where they were eating last night and what they had to drink, to be told it would take 5 days, I explained that I was very busy organising my mother’s funeral etc but I was told nothing could be done. I will never use them again, rude and unhelpful.
