It's not a fault of this particular store, more the entire chain. What's the point of having a physical retail location where anything even slightly unusual has to be ordered in? CPW charge a premium price, if you're advertising it in store in expect to be able to take one away today.
Secondly, does anyone else remember when PC World actually used to sell PC's and parts, rather than just macbooks and endless peripherals... God forbid you need an actual part for something, I guess they can't help you anymore.
If you're looking to buy a telly, they have hundreds. Actually need something specific, go online and do it yourself, they can't help.
Unfortunately my trip to Currys was awful, can't recommend them this time as a company to deal with. I'd researched an item on line they had in stock, travelled there only to find their on-line description was way of in sizes. Found an item matching the spec and asked for a small discount....all they would offer was a discount to their added insurance... wasn't fooling for that, not even an apology from the manager Alex.. they've now lost a regular customer. Have to try AO now.
Customer service is a joke. They never answer the phone. I tried all 4 numbers over duration of 1 week to no avail. They don't answer emails either. Shocking.
Staff everywhere but no one wanted to assist! After selecting items stood by the till for ages waiting to pay. No queue just waiting. Not what I call service!
Disgusted by lack of communication, ignorance and just rudeness of the staff. Claimed to be open when not and when I ordered a next day delivery and nothing has still showed up for 2 days, no-one answered the line of tech support and this company is just a shambles as a whole. They will take your extra money and make you wait and wait. Not one way to get hold of them and will never purchase here again!
