Nice place to stop on the road from Bere Regis to Poole. Well away from the noise of the road. Much better parking arrangements at the front of the farm building now. Tables are nicely placed in a inner court yard to the rest of the site. Staff are friendly and we'll trained on COVID-19 issues. The cakes are now a legend to the local population and the beverages are excellent too.

Lovely cafe with good outdoor tables. Our lunch was delicious with Barn Cafe Rarebit of the day served on an olive toast topped with rarebit sauce, melted cheese and a dressed side salad and my dish of two local Free Range Poached eggs served with Serrano ham on a toasted muffin with hollandaise sauce and a salad, Great selection of home made cakes and we shared a chocolate with cream & raspberry filling. Friendly service and great place to visit with a garden centre next door.

Unfortunately a disappointing experience. We had just had a lovely walk in the forest with our dog and thought we'd go to the Barn Cafe for a coffee and slice of cake. The weather was heavy rain showers which we had just managed to avoid. We arrived to find that dogs were not welcome in the outside marquee attached to the cafe so we had to sit outside. We ordered our coffee and cake which was delicious but of course the heavens opened and we had to sit outside in the rain trying to shelter under an umbrella. I have never been made to feel so unwelcome in a cafe before. Most pubs and cafes welcome dog walkers nowadays - I shall not be returning .

The Covid measures were excellent, plenty of space between the tables. I had the smoked salmon quiche which was amazing, full of flavour and very filling. Still enough room for a slice of some delicious cake. Book before you go as it does get very busy.

Took my wife for lunch on her birthday. Been there once before and it was just as good this time. Covid precautions good and the food was delicious. Very nice cafe. 😃
