Worked here briefly years ago. Medications not given to dogs, nor their desired foods. Usually kennels just had a label with wet/dry food. Dogs are not taken for walks. At all.

Left my 4 chihuahuas over Christmas and new year. Picked them up today. When I got there they were out on a walk so had to wait a short while. But staff kept me chatting about them, explained they were nervous at first but came around to the point they were happy to jump all over them after trust was gained. One lady seemed to have a soft spot for chihuahuas. She has them herself. Asked to see where they were kept and was no issue even though it wasnt planned. For small dogs they had loads of space and a heated lamp over there beds. Beds are plastic with fluffy blankets in them. Seemed quite full for this time of year and all other dogs seemed happy especially the big giant one that was in the next building. My fur babies were kept in a small brick building with other small dogs sknot wasnt to noisy for them. Would recommend this kennels.

I wouldn’t leave one star here- I booked my cat here but something came up and sadly I wasn’t able to go away any longer I had only made the booking earlier that day but rang back as soon as I could to apologies and cancel the booking ( the booking was a a week away), the rude man on the phone just hung up the phone, I thought there might have been an issue with the signal so I rang back and explained again he said “ I know DARLING you just told me that “ and hung up the phone again. I do appreciate that a cancellation isnt ideal but I had only booked my cat in that day ( having not used his chattery before ) and suddenly something happened that meant I wouldn’t need that place in the chattery any longer - I rang as I didn’t want to just not turn up. He seemed angry and I’m glad I didn’t take my cat into his care.

WARNING STAY AWAY FROM THIS KENNELS I would give a zero rating if it would let me. Absolutely discussed with the condition my sister-in-law picked her 7 month old up today. Trembling, scared stiff and bogging. Also has left there with cherry eye. Before the dog was collected the kennels tried booking her in to have the operation (without the owners consent and we know this because the vets phoned to check it was ok) She is now safe back home but had to be bathed 3 times to get all the dirt off her (she is a tiny dog, so this tells you how dirty she actually was) They need closing down 😡😡😡. We used a different kennel at the same time and my 4 didn't want to leave they love it there that much. They have their daily walks, loads of cuddles and they were bathed before we collected them.
