What a find at the side of your house after all those years.
Really amazing
Pretty little hidden gem. A lovely half day walk around. To make it a whole day. Make a picnic and relax on the green
You must visit here in the spring or summer it's amazing and a hidden gem. Was featured on TV some years ago. Food available with outside seating. Some parts underground which are not wheelchair accessible.
Visited again during Covid in late July and had to put up with a chap mowing the already short grass. Not safe with kids playing.
Also toilet arrangements not good being too close to where people are booking in. Male and female have to share the toilets which some may dislike.
A must visit. Stopped in on my way back from Cardiff to London and I was not disappointed. The subterranean works are phenomenal and Henry Oakley sure had an eye for detail planning this together. I am happy the Harris family rediscovered this and it's ended up being shared with the world. You won't see anything like this in the UK.
