Handy for visiting the town with toilet facilities as well. Some bays are a bit tight (car park not toilet!)

A smallish carpark that's in an ideal location to get straight to the picturesque town of Rye via the steep path across the road by the pedestrian lights. There are 2 ticket machines to pay for parking which are very reasonable rates, plus you can pay by card, if like me you don't have enough change on you, simply put your credit card in to check in & let it communicate with your bank & then its ready just put your car reg in, you will get a ticket to display on your windscreen, but you WON'T be charged until you return & put your card back into the machine for it to register how long you've been parked & will give you a receipt letting you know how much you've been charged. Please note that if you don't put your card back in to check out, you WILL be charged in til 7pm which is the standard daily charge.
