A simple caravan site. Has a bar with some entertainment although not every night. There is a static site, I'm sure some owners rent their caravans out for public use. There are caravans at the office for sale if you're looking for a basic quiet park right in front of the beach.
There is a field for touring caravans & campers although for some strange reason NO TENTS. There are rubbish bins as well as portaloo disposal, outdoor tap for clean water, shower and toilet blocks. There are no electrics available on the touring site.
There are steps or a slope if you walk down the road a little to the stoney beach which is a good spot for bait digging and fishing.
The touring site could do with a little levelling and electric hookups, there is no on site shop although the is a Co-op a short walk away. The club room is very basic and there is no Pool. The site has a lot of potential to it. But if you want a place for a quiet break in your tourer or looking to purchase a static caravan then Rye Bay Caravan Park is the place for you. Where you can't go wrong. Especially if you like your sea fishing.
