I appreciate this is a volunteer business but the shocking service I have received has left me no option but to write this. Made a considerable size booking for a large number of guest. I have called and been redirected to an email address which I have emailed at least 6 times since April. No one responds!!!! You have stolen a large amount of money from myself and guests and I would like it back! I was happy to re arrange before but I no longer want to support such a business that does not value the customers that keep them running. If anyone at this place actually reads these reviews can you respond? WARNING to everyone else! They take your money then you never hear anything again!

It was shut unfortunately Let me expand, I saw the signs for the railway thought I would stop off tosee/visit but unfortunately it was shut no doubt due to situation with Covid-19. So 2 stars as l couldn't visit. It looked very interesting railway and there was obvious maintenance of painting etc. So not a fake review. From experience of preservation railway visits l am sure it would warrant 5 stars. I hope that the railway will be able to open soon and offer visitors and enthusiasts the wonderful world of yester year travel.

Second time we've been to the Gwili Railway for Christmas and I have to say it is absolutely magical. The staff/volunteers are all amazing, friendly and helpful and the steam train itself is impressive. As with so many volunteer projects it could do with sprucing up but it gets better each year.

What a lovely day on this little steam train, all the crew which are volunteers where amazing, bey professional and knowledgeable about the locomotive and the line. We had a 3 course luncheon which was excellent. There were 2 stops to stretch our legs and a look into the engine. This is must for something different they also do cream tea trips.

Great day out for family. Free parking. Tickets for the train aren't too expensive. Carriages seem well maintained. Wheelchair accessible carriage too apparently (although o did not see it first hand)
