Over priced and over rated. The 2 of us paid about £250 for dinner, B&B. We wanted to swim, but we weren't able to book a slot when we booked our stay. Dinner was excellent and restaurant staff were superb. Breakfast (in our room) was very poor. We didn't get what we ordered and left most of it. I object to having to try and book a swim and breakfast using a QR code. It didn't work on my phone and we wasted an hour of our break trying to access it. The final straw was having to pay £18 to park. I cannot remember having to pay at a hotel before. We will never go there again. Disappointed.
The food here is absolutely delicious from rolls to cakes very reasonable prices had 2 lovely fresh cream cakes for less price than you'd pay one in Costas. And very friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely love Wrens' steak and kidney pies, and their Welsh cakes. Worth travelling for. Best ever! Yumm!!
This is not only the best bakery in Newport but the best bakery on the M4 corridor in Wales. Highly recommended.
